systemdjohn john[1074]:

Hello, world (or: why systemd john?)

Every Linux machine starts the same way: a wall of text scrolls by, one line at a time, each service reporting in. [ OK ] Started this. [ OK ] Started that. It's not pretty, but it tells you the whole machine came up and everything's where it belongs.

I figured a life works about the same way. So that's what this site is — my boot log. The places I came from, the music that stuck, the jobs, the people, and whatever I feel like writing about next.

This part is the journal. On a Linux system you read the journal with a command called journalctl. Here you just scroll.

More soon.
